Flourished Elements Released!

Since the day Flourishes, llc opened we have been asked when we would do a large set with the look of our logo.  Well, the wait is over!  We released our November set, Flourished Elements, today.  This set will be useful in so many ways for anyone that desires the classic, traditional look. Yet it is perfect for today and the future.

I was planning this card and saw the SCS color challenge and thought it would be perfect for the card.  I did however deviate from the challenge using River Rock instead of Wild Wasabi–I felt the color was just too bright for the feeling I wanted for the card.

There is no special treatment for this card…some straight forward stamping and a little embossing.  I used images from many of the Flourishes other sets to complete the card.  The main image is from the Flourished Elements stamped in SU River Rock on Soft Sky cardstock.  The “holly berries” are actually from the Cake Decorating 101 set using Regal Rose and the snowflake like images are part of our Rejoice set.  The Christmas greeting is from our O Christmas Tree set.  I stamped it in Craft White ink and used Winter White embossing powder with a dash of Dazzling Diamonds added to it.  Of course such a feminine card needs a touch of ribbon and after several tries I decided on the small white satin SU ribbon.

I think this debutante is ready for her presentation.

My computer had a major glitch this morning and I was unable to post as I had planned….but Flourished Elements is worth the wait.   If you want to see the other images in this beautiful set, visit the Flourishes storefront.
