Birds on a Wire

This time of year most of the birds from the north have headed  to the sunny and much warmer south….both the real birds and the snow birds.  Many choose our lovely city as ” THE”  place to spend their time.   I love to see all the birds lined up on the utility wires.  It seems like entire villages take up residence there.  So I made a card for all the Love Birds -and snow birds – and here it is. love-birds1.jpg

The inspiration came from Sharon Johnson (notimetostamp) and her weekly challenge to Stamp Simply…this time a long and low card.

This card took less that 10 minutes. It fits a business size envelope.  I simply drew a line in black across the face of the card and stamped the birds, using a mask to delete their little royal headdress and colored them using my Copics.  I added a bow and a sentiment.  All the images are from the Love Nest Images from Flourishes

Now that’s Stamping Simply!
