Hello Friends,

The headline should grab your attention because today we are releasing a darling new set Tiny Flowers and Tags by Marcella Hawley, and, yes, we have a new custom die made for our Tailor-Made line by Spellbinders.  Between the lovely small images and sentiments, Tiny Flowers and Tags is an absolutely must have!

The other great addition to the Flourishes line is a custom die to our Tailor-Made Die line called Classic Die Tag set.  Although tiny in stature these will be real go to items for small embellishments for your creations.

I choose to cluster my tiny flowers and shape a focus point on the bottom and another accent on the top.  Here’s my card.

I had so much fun doing this card.

I used a Spellbinder die and drew a very light circle with a pencil.  Next I stamped two of each flower and leaves I intended to use for my wreath onto Eclipse masking tape and cut them out with tiny scissors.   I stamped the rose at the bottom center of the circle, covered it with a mask,  then added a slightly smaller flower to the right and left and masked them off.  I continued to do this with smaller flowers, masking again.  Leaving the mask all in place I added in leaves, then removed the mask.  Viola!  There was the bottom done ready to color.  I followed the same procedure for the top as well.  Then I colored the images with Copics using the following Flourishes Copic collections:

I used three Spellbinder die sets for the card, S4-293 Lacey Circles for the white layer with the wreath I formed, then S4-124 Classic Scallops large on blush pink  card stock, and finally I cut two white pieces of cardstock using S5-035, Parisian Motifs.  Carefully I cut the centers away and made a cut into each of the outside strips to enlarge it enough to fit around the pink scalloped layer.  This just took a little extra attention.  The cardstock used are Flourishes Classic Ivory, Classic White, blush pink, and a sheet of designer paper from the Sweet Nothings pad of 6″x6″ Kaiser paper.  Ribbons, May Arts Silk Champagne, (looks more peach that champagne to me) and Webster Pages sheer polka dot and White scalloped  lace .  Kaiser pearls both strip and graduated sizes were added to yet another Spellbinder edgeablities.  The sentiment is from FLLC Pears Set stamped onto another sheet of the Sweet Nothing paper pad using Spellbinders Lacey Scallops.  Finally I added the “cherry on the top” by using the brand new Tailor-Made Die Classic Die Tags.
